Day 14 – June 27

Early wake up, William switched rooms in the middle of the night as Bob is a noisy sleep.
We sailed to Meares Glacier at Unakwik Inlet.
Amazing views and spectacular calving of pieces of glacier.
William and I playerd checkers and ‘Go fish’ on route.
We had a delicious lunch on board and then set off on a ‘bear walk’. (Trail made by black bears but as there have not been bears here for a while, it was heavy growth).
We ventured into the unknown, filled with overgrown trees, over streams and up hills. The blueberry bushes helped to support us on the path. William bounced like a monkey while Bob was more like an elephant.Renee crossed the stream which was deeper than anticipated and her boots filled with water. The easiest way to drain them, you will see in the photos.
Great views, lots of laughs with our fellow travelers and wonderful memories.
