We slept very well and opened our curtains to clear blue skies and crisp blue water, 21 degrees. We had a tee time at 08 20. We played 18 holes on a manicured course. For the golfers among us: You are assigned a caddie who takes care of you, helps you to choose the best club for the shot, follows your ball when hit, cleans your clubs after each shot and leads the way – what a luxury. One hole was a “floating hole”, you hit the ball over the water and then take a boat to putt it into the hole. Photographs to follow. When we return home, it’s back to pulling the trolley in the rain!
After our game, we had lunch at the clubhouse overlooking the water.
We drove 4 hours to our next stop Butte.
Butte was once a flourishing town which made its money in mining. There are still remnants of that time to be seen.
Stopped on route for a milkshake, we had a choice of 200 flavors!
Sleeping in the RV tonight……….
