We woke up around 09 30, beautiful weather, and our cabin was in the woods so heard the birds chirping. We took a walk to the northern rim of the canyon and then we drove to the southern rim and before us were cascades and a waterfall. It is part of the Yellowstone River. We checked into our RV campground and had lunch in the woods.
Thereafter we visited a number of basins, geysers, paint pots and fumaroles (explanation in photos). The colors and formations are phenomenal.
Old Faithful was the most powerful and impressive Geyser. Do you know why it is called Old Faithful?
