Left Yellowstone National Park early and entered Grand Teton National Park.
As you will see, many photos of the changing landscape.
At 18 00 we met up with Matthew Day Jackson and his family and had a delicious dinner with them. We had dinner on his porch, chicken schnitzel and Laura made tasty salads. They also had a birthday cake for me and Flynn gave us a concert! (sorry not Greensleeves).
We stayed with Camille and Ben, friends of Matthew and Laura who were very hospitable and welcoming. Mathew has an exhibition in Jackson Hole, photos to follow, as always extraordinary, inspiring work. Matthew’s work is hanging in our art space “Lower 48”, the 48 photos of faces found in nature.
One painting in the exhibition was made of a waterfall we saw yesterday in Yellowstone based on a painting by Albert Bierstadt’s “Yellowstone Falls”.
