Day 29 – July 12

Tik, tik, tik on the window………..

Unfortunately no moose in the garden!

Bob and I caught up on emails, zoom calls, etc surrounded by the beautiful art and nature.

We started our drive to Spiral Jetty (452 km) at 11 40.  On route, we stopped at Golden Spike National Historical Park. This is the place, Promontory Summit, May 10th, 1869 that was chosen as the point for the joining of the rails (Pacific Railroad and United Railroad).

Spiral Jetty is a famous piece of land art made by Robert Smithson in 1970. We walked up the hill to get a better view of the artwork and then walked between the stones of the spiral. We walked out to Great Salt Lake.

It was a very hot day, 34 degrees.

Sunset was beautiful and we spent the night here in our RV.
