What a beautiful place to wake up in!
We were alone, nothing but nature……….
The colors of the artwork had transformed into shades of brown, yellow, beige and as the sun rose, it slowly took on new hues.
The gravel road to Spiral Jetty and back was so bumpy, we had massages on route!
We continued our road trip to Zion National Park. On the way, we stopped at Salt Lake City Tabernacles, a very impressive, well-maintained complex (built in 1880) that has one of the largest Convention Centers in the world where the audience all face forward, 12,666 people. We learned more about Mormon culture and religious views (zoom into the photo of the temple).
After driving 646 kilometers, we arrived at our lodgings for the night. I have decided sleeping in the RV and showering in space 50cm by 75cm is not for me and since Bob said I can choose a hotel whenever I want, from now on it is hotels, cabins, glamping, etc 😂.
Tonight we “glamped”, which was luxurious and super comfortable. They had some music entertainment and after dinner, we melted marshmallows and made s’mores around the fire. The wind came up and it started raining.
The videos of previous days have now been downloaded and added today and I added our dinner with Matthew, Laura, family, and friends.
