Today was our last drive and Mexico City is our final stop for this part of our trip.

We left Guadalajara at 10 00 and it was a 6-hour drive to Mexico City.  We were surprised by how many tolls we went through. We stopped at a gas station for lunch, tacos, quite tasty actually.

We scheduled our PCR tests for 17 00 as that is required for our flight home.

We had a lovely dinner with old family friends of Bob’s and his parents. The Gimbel’s and Drake’s go back about 90 years.

We had a delicious dinner at their home with their two sons and daughter-in-law.  It was nice to be in a home after traveling for 5 weeks.
